About Us

Dr Isa El-buba Foundation

was founded to create lasting social change by addressing social and economic inequalities. Our VISION is to lead efforts in peace, justice, and sustainable development, and our MISSION is to empower communities with innovative, transformative programs that foster equity and opportunity.

Leadership

Get to know our team

The Foundation is led by Prophet Dr. Isa El-Buba (Chairman) and Mrs. Deborah El-Buba Atubi (Executive Director), with Dr. Orinya Agbaji serving as Programme Director. Prophet Isa El-buba brings decades of pastoral and community experience to the role. Pastor Deborah, a respected leader in Plateau State, guides our daily programs and is a dynamic advocate (she co-leads interfaith gender justice initiatives, for example). Our broader management team and volunteers share these values, working together toward our common goals.

Theory of Change

At our core is the belief that sustainable peace and development happen when people are empowered to solve their own problems. We invest in education, skills training, and economic programs so individuals can break cycles of poverty. We advocate for inclusion and political participation so marginalized voices influence policy. We build partnerships and use data to constantly improve. In short, we seed change at the grassroots level – then nurture it over the long term. As we say, our integrated approach “ensures that programs remain effective and adaptable,” leading to “a more equitable, peaceful, and sustainable society.
